Have we ever asked ourselves, why are things made this way?
If the world is indeed wicked, why does it still remain?
Or as simple as why is this cup made in this shape?
Is it pure chance, a freak accident, or a deliberate act to modify status quo?
All these have logical explanations.
No matter how complex something may be, it too has it beginnings.
Why should we know?
We are swamped with so many things already.
There is no time.
But what if understanding makes it easier to accept things the way it is?
Perhaps things are such because there is no better way out for now?
And if there is what can we do about it?
We all complain.
Things can be better.
But we often stop short of asking how.
And even from there we should conclude with asking: what can I do about it?
If I can do nothing then should I accept it for now.
And thrive within its confines?
It is not accepting defeat.
He simply adapts and makes do with the situation.
He still moves forward, but within a boundary defined by what is possible.
Even if it makes him uncomfortable.
Even if it is inefficient.
It is the best that we can do for now.
And would that give you peace?
Peace to discern how things are now.
So when the time is right we break out of the confine to seek out more.
To make things better.
The way we all want it to be in the first place.
One cannot simply move forward at will and without understanding.
It is dangerous. We get hurt.
Then we most often complain and blame others.
But have we asked ourselves if we could have been more prudent?
It could have turned out better, or avoided altogether.
Yes it is relevant.
It is a blueprint for the future.
It is easy to cast blame.
But will it make us better?
We may of course choose to do what we want.
But if it does not improve us and make us better, then what is it purpose?
Are we wasting our time chasing things that are meaningless?
If it does not serve a beneficial purpose, whether directly or indirectly,
Then should it even exist?
If we decide that it should still exist,
Then we must be prepared for its costs.
Whether they are costs we pay now, or somewhere later in future.
We blame no one, because we have made that choice.
Such is how things work.
The total amount of energy in a system is conserved.
Nothing pops out of nowhere.
It is always a product of a decision made some time ago.
So at the end of it all,
If it is something we cannot do anything about,
Why remain angry?
Why let it affect your thoughts?
Things can indeed be better.
But they lay in the future.
How it will all end up?
It is all up to us.
